Books: Expert Python Programming

I just received my copy of Expert Python Programming. I was the technical editor, and I also wrote the foreword. This is the first time I've ever been mentioned on the front cover of a book, so I'm very excited!

I really enjoyed editing this book. It's the first expert-level book on Python I've read. For a long time, I considered writing one. Tarek beat me to the punch, and I think he did a fantastic job!

That's very cool to hear. The website you linked to has misspelled "Proactive" in the sentence for short summary of the book: "Proctive test-driven development and continuous integration"

The detailed section has it spelled properly.

Hey JJ,

I really enjoyed working with you on it. Having you as a technical editor made the book way better and my writing experience more intense.

I'm glad you could take it with my English mistakes and French-style grammar.

Now that the book is out, I can tell you : I am terribly bad in French grammar too, and my technical editor for the french book kinda hated me :D

More seriously, I hope people will like this book. Cheers.
