Yeah, but isn't he kind of concentrating on the wrong things? I mean, Java supports recursion (even if they don't teach it), and as a programmer, I find that there's usually a better way to solve those types of problems, especially in a language like C, where you don't have tail-call optimization.Anyways, I think you could use concurrency as a new standard of something that some people just don't get, with the added bonus of having it be (more likely to be) useful to know in your everyday job.(You should also read Ian Bicking's reply.
